Portion Size Matters!

In a recent article in the Globe and Mail, “Seven Nutritious foods that can derail your diet”,  Leslie Beck highlights the importance of portion control even when it comes to healthy foods.  The nutrition specialist provides a brief summary of the potential benefits of seven nutritious foods along with good advise on how much is enough.  One of the reasons that we developed the Pure Prairie Eating Plan was to highlight the variety and diversity of foods that could be part of a healthy diet…and also provide appropriate serving sizes according to Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide.
